High Hopes Therapeutic Riding
High Hopes has been one of our longest partnerships and they are near to our hearts. We get to work on expanding their reach using everything from event design and planning to website creation and social media. The passion the organization has for their riders is felt very clearly in everything they do, and we see it as our duty to show that through design. Plus, everything we do in marketing goes to benefit their mission of healing through horseback and horse related programs for those with disabilities.
Dine & Dance
Gallop, 2016’s fundraiser, was the big hit of the summer. Another sold-out year, High Hopes wanted to make this one a bit more accessible than a traditional gala. The theme highlights the herd, and are hand drawn. The most successful gala to date, this event raised over $225,000 for the organization with over 600 people in attendance (that’s a sold out, completely filled barn).
Newman's Own Challenge
#ShareHighHopes
The #ShareHighHopes fundraising campaign, including a fluorescent brochure mailer, not only met the Newman’s Own challenge non-profit matching grant, but donations vastly exceeded it. In order to gather as much traction as possible, we A / B tested the best solutions and made sure to use as many touch points – with consistent messaging – as possible. Two mailers, one goal. Instagram, Facebook, in hand – everything surrounded the storytelling of this great institution.

Soul + Funk
Sold out, 60s style. Gold baby gold. This simple yet elegant design set and elevated the tone for the entire event. People took notice – including HOW Design.
The Big Easy
Invitation, poster, and party all in one. Julia Balfour believes in delivering delight through the mail, and this Zydeco experience was no exception. Since working with Julia Balfour, tickets for these events have sold out weeks in advance and attendance has increased 150%.
A Spectacular Evening
Symphony is a bit more elegant than standard High Hopes gala concert celebrations, which means Julia Balfour gets to incorporate delicate, high-end components like custom floral arrangements and watercolors. Setting both the tone and pace made for a spectacular evening.
